Welcome to McArthur-Icewood Australian Stock Horses. Run by Canadian Jacquie McArthur and Australian Maryanne Gough, this new facility located just south of Calgary, Alberta is home to Canada's first Australian Stock Horses.

Imported from Australia in March 2009, these horses are causing quite a buzz in the horse industry with their versatility appealing to both Western and English riders equally.

We hope you enjoy your time on our website, learning about this new breed and our breeding and training plans here in Canada. We welcome visitors by appointment, so if you feel like a day trip, please feel free to contact us!

In addition to our resident Australian Stock Horse sire CADABRA (live cover, fresh cooled and frozen semen available), we're also offering, in partnership with Berragoon Stud in Australia, STONEBROOK FINNO (frozen semen).

North American foals are eligible for
two additional registries.
